Imagine Leonel Messi's father forced him to play table tennis because its small for his size, what do you think would have become of him, watching others dribble players?
Imagine Cristiano Ronaldo's mother convinced him to become an engineer What do you think would have become of him, seeing others score goals?
Imagine Floyd Mayweather's Uncle saying son go and play basketball because blacks are good in basketball. What do you think would have become of him looking at his height?
Imagine Usian Bolts parents saying son go to the army because you are tall and strong. What do you think would have become of him watching others run at the Olympics?
Imagine Oprah's guardian telling her to become a nurse because she will understand peoples pain and help them.Would we be seeing her on TV?
Imagine Bill gates father had pressured him to become a banker. What do you think would have become of him counting other peoples money?
Imagine Mark Zuckerberg's girlfriend had advised him to become a doctor. What social media do you think we would be using right now?
What do you think would have become of all these great people: They would have been doing the things they don't love and they would have either failed or become just ordinary people in those places and people would have either called them lazy or failures. Most of the failures in life is because people have been made to do what they don't like or love their whole life.
Now am just gonna tell you the truth but its gonna hurt a little hard:
This is a lesson that goes to parents, teachers, family and love ones don't force people rather help them discover their passion and potential. And to our friends and colleagues, today I see a lot of people on social media trying to convince everybody to do what is working for them. Thinking it will work for everybody. Some are good, some are bad.And once you aren't able to succeed then they think you are lazy or a failure. And they end up making people feel very bad about themselves, whiles they keep showing off and feeling big about their achievement.
Listen to me, live a purpose driven life that will make you happy and fulfilled. If you come into contact with something online or offline that isn't your passion or drive don't let anybody force you into it, if you don't love it. You can give it a try, but be true to yourself and stay true to yourself. Don't force yourself to do what you don't love or enjoy because of hardship or quick money.
You have to keep searching for what belongs to you, you may find it early or later, its an adventure don't cut it short and miss the fun. Remember KFC.
A lot of people have gotten their hearts broken, dreams shattered, hope scattered and promises disappointed. You can quit on what doesn't make you happy but never quit and don't stop finding what will make you happy whiles giving you money.
Several young men who came to me some months and I showed them a few things I do but I did not force them to do what I do just because that will give me money, or help me create a list, or build a team but rather through my motivational posts on Facebook, audios on SoundCloud and videos on YouTube and general life coaching and their constant following today one of them has found his passion in web development he is so passionate and talking about it everywhere Dhynx Nts Cofe and now helping me, the other one Peter K. Asare Nyarko is now a full time author and financial strategist, talking about it everyday with love and now inviting me to his programs. And another who hasn't even met me before Mohamed L Kebbie has found is passion in music far away in another country and feeling fulfilled.
Don't let your desire for quick money make you turn the people around you into what they are not supposed to be. A lot of people have done this to me because of my talent and gifts, they want to benefit from it and take advantage without ever asking "Solomon what do you want to be and how can I help you get in there" rather they make me confused and miserable whenever an with them, because I look like a failure in those places where they look like a success, and they are trying to just fit me there. A lot of people are having money, driving cars and living big but my friend Marshal Chiza the youngest successful author in Zimbabwe will say #poorBillionaires because life, purpose and destiny is greater than just making money everyday.
