HOW TO START UP A SMALL BUSINESS AND MAKE IT SURVIVE.
1. Do a market Niche, that is check the location and how the people in that place will welcome such product or service.
2. Ask whether your product is an improvement to an already old existing one. If yes let people see how best your service will make things better and satisfying. If new use a good story or scenario that people can identify with so that they don't see your product as something foreign.
3. Timing is
always crucial. Because starting a business at the right place at the
right time for the right people can make you rich easily and quickly.
4. Do not do business in the dark. Make some posters, flyers, just a print out for people to read when you are not around to tell them about your business.
5. Use the social media platforms and groups to bring your business to the light and to people who are outside your physical location but may need your service somewhere else.
6. Provide excellent customer and client relationship. At the beginning of your business your customers are always right. Make them happy and they will return and recommend.
7. Be available and reliable. Be consistent and persistent at your new business.
8. Don't feed on your Capital and Profits. Reinvest them into the business. Find your daily living from another source else you will eat your business up whiles its still young.
9. Always apologize and accept mistakes and petty loses, it makes customers feel indebted to you for the kind gesture.
10. When you do well, get people to help you expand your business, people who are smart like you and can do what you can't.
